Torrevieja U3A are a lovely friendly group, with loads of activities in and around the Torrevieja/Playa flamenca area. Have a look at their web site. We live in Playa flamenca 6minths of the year and go out for walks, meals, table tennis, ten pin bowling And lots more. There are a lot of single people too, so please don’t feel it is just for couples.

I lost my husband in 2016, so will be travelling on my own. My villa is Nr. Villamartin, so if you would like to get in touch perhaps we could meet up and have lunch.

Hi Jenny,

My name is Julie I completed on a a bungalow in Playa Flamenca in October. I saw it in May and really liked it but I hadn't really intended to purchase. It's good to hear that there are other single people in the Playa Flamenca area.I'm resident in London but coming to Spain Thursday week.(31/1/2019) A friend was planning to come with me but has changed her mind.

It would be great to meet up while I'm there.

If ladies are on their own there is a great group called Cabo Roig Ladies and they use WhatsApp to communicate with each other but you can request to join via Facebook https://www.facebook.com/groups/441341366395337/

They are very security conscious and it is only next stop down from Playa Flamenca. All different ages all different tastes and a great bunch of ladies.

There is a FaceBook group for the over 70's in the Villamartin and surrounding areas, (I suppose you dont need to be 70, just enjoy liked minded activities).

They meet up monthly for a light hearted lunch and then have add on activities like a trip to JALON VALLEY ALMOND BLOSSOM on MONDAY, 25th of FEBRUARY. My mum is part of the group (we have a house in PF and she just joined and was made very welcome) find the group on FB (see the link below) or private message me if you are not on Facebook for further information
