We brought a rescue dog from Spain to the UK in February 2020. We’re coming back for a 3 month holiday from December 2021 until February 2022. We have a European pet passport for her. We’ll be coming through the channel tunnel then through France before entering Spain.

Can anyone tell us if we need anything done in the UK or France before entering Spain? For example getting her ticked and flexed in the UK or France. Her rabies is up to date as is ok for 3 years.

Aside from this. As humans does anyone know the procedures for us as in proof of vaccines. COVID tests in UK and France before entering Spain.

Thanks in advance.

We’ve already asked our vet.

He said that we needed an animal health certificate.

His information conflicts with the information on the uk government website.
