Hello

In my area & Torrevieja they usually set them off from the towns main. squares but of of course, you can see them from all around.  In Spain, fireworks (fire crackers)  just seem to be loud rather than pretty with a few exceptions but  peope also have them at NYE parties & in gardens etc.

I can watch La Matas fireworks from my terrace & I'm 30mins walk away from the town centre but there are so many occasions during the year when the Spanish lhave  fire crackers .....fiestas, football matches, Saints Days etc etc ...it becomes the norm.

Cheers

Lots of local ayuntamiento hosting street parties this year with music grapes and fireworks.

Torrevieja, Rojales and Guardamar have all been busy promoting this in the past few days.

Hopefully we are going to end up with celebrations to rival those held every year in Madrid - the Spanish people certainly know how to party.
