Does anyone know when the carboot Mercadilla del Torro in Pilar de la Horadada will open again?

Opens again on sept 6th ,all stallholders will have to become members , no card = no entry this will be strictly enforced ..!!

Membership will be open on 30 August at the car show , you will need 2 passport size photos and copy of your nie , there may be a fee to cover admin .

This was all bought about by our north african "cousins " who decided that as they had screwed up and lost there site elsewhere that they were entitled to just turn up enmass to fight and push there way in , set up where they like and leave there unsold crap behind leaving the site owners having to hire a cleaning crew in and the cost of 3 skips ..!!!

The skips that were filled and left on the road to be collected were then turned over by the local scavengers leaving rubbish all over the road, this happened 3 times and this forced the organisers to close the site down to reorganise .

Thank you for your reply. How will you enforce this? Their vans will just block the gates during the night, vans and cars will build up behind them, they then can’t reverse and nobody, members included, will be able to get in.

It was utter mayhem on the last day, I thought I was going to get rammed by a big red van!
