Ive not heard (or missed) on how Nicola (French Martini) is after her back operation.

Has anybody hear?

I spoke to her office a few days ago and they said she was OK, and the person I spoke to said they'd send her a WhatsApp to tell her I'd called.

I didn't ask if the op had been successful as I thought that would be a bit presumptuous.

I did think of ringing her myself but I know what it can be like if you're lying in a hospital bed, possibly in the middle of treatment or trying to sleep, and the damn phone starts ringing.

Update - Lesley Rose has been in touch with Nicola, and has some good news for us.

The operation was successful, but Nicola is still in a lot of pain, which is understandable. Lesley says Nicola has been out a couple of times so far but that the outings were too much for her.
