Hi everyone,

We are having the same problem as a previous “poster” with cockroaches dropping from the aircon unit. Everywhere is sealed outside as much as we can. Does anyone know where we can buy odourless spray.  Been to Leroy and Ferreteria, no joy. Want to spray unit before putting it on at night. I am fed up of watching it for at least 10 mins waiting for them to drop out, urgh!!

Yes of course Alice we only heard about it a month ago .... make sure you buy the right one ...

it works on a frequently that we can’t here but they can and they won’t come near .... we were told to expect a couple of dead cockroaches but nothing so far ... we live in a quad with up and downstairs and we only needed one ....

Hope this helps am sure the sales team in Leroy merlin will help you further ....I know it works for us .... but to be honest I would like to know where there coming from ?

Les

Hi Les

Thanks again. We have a detached Villa and every window has mossy blinds and the front door and conservatory door so I know what you mean, HOW do they get in. Will take a look at the plug.

Alice, you won't find an odourless spray. However, you can only smell it when you first use a spray. Once it has dried on to whatever you spray, it doesn't have an odour.

I use Oro or Mercadona's Insecticida (red can with black top) once a month, and just leave the windows open until the smell dissipates.

I'm sensitive to artificial odours, which give me a headache, but don't have any reaction to these two.

I used to have problems with ordinary fly spray, because they were all perfumed, but since Mercadona brought out a fly spray 'sin perfum' I don't have a problem.

Zum may be better than Oro, but I can't use it indoors as it makes me choke.

Always remember, cockroaches, will only live where there is food, and warmth,so make sure you don’t leave any food out,or if it drops onto the floor, clean up straight away, and never leave it.

Also you need a sticky mat, where they get stuck on it,and never crush them with your shoe,as most of the little pest are pregnant, and there babies will live on and spread more.
