RayD , do you mean you stayed  over 59 days and anywhere up to up to  3 months at any one time, with your policy covering a full 12 months of seperate visits ?

Post Brexit you wont be able to stay longer than 3 months in Spain, (and even now if you do you should be registering with the local Town Hall).  The 3rd country requirements are stays totally no more than 90 days in any 180.  Most annual policies will give a max of 60 days at a time.  I use Salt Insurance and you can actually talk to the human being rather than do everthing on line, which is extremely helpful.  They also cover pre-existing conditions (which is why I use them).  My policy is a 60 day stay max but you could at least speak to them about an extension to that which I believe is possible on some of their policies.  (They do insurance everyone not just charity workers.)

Try Staysure they offered 6months continuous in 12 months. I had this policy with them. They also take in any illnesses that you may suffer.
