Hi Everyone

I have a small 2 bed quad villa/bungalow in Playa Flamenca my insurance for 2023/2024 was 171 euro. I'd like to find out whether or not that’s a favourable rate for buildings and contents. Also I've had health issues and I'm late paying the insurance for this period and unfortunately there has been damage to my front gate. How would I find this information please.

Thanks for your help.

Julia

There are quite a few comparison sites, however they all seem to want your name, address and email before quoting.

171 seems a fair price for a 2 bed house building and contents insurance. Certainly not excessive.

Re your front gate damage, if it happened when you hadn't paid the premium then I doubt the insurance company would cover it. Most of them seem to find any way out of paying and that would probably top their list.

Hi, for a comparison quote you could try Jennifercunningham.net. They have a office in Playa Flamenca, not far from the post office. I'd agree with Marcliff that your current price looks quite good.

Julia, may I enquire who your quoted provider is ? We have similarly sized quad in PF and have both buildings and contents with Generali. We are interested in reviewing our outgoing costs but are unsure how to do this in Spain. The figure you quoted is also lower than what we currently pay.
