Good morning everyone. My name is Alison and I've just joined the forum. I have a property over there and am unable to get there now, should have been coming over at the end of the month. I'm pining to get back over and am finding that by reading messages from all of you guys its helping me. I'm looking on Spanish sites and reading all the news. Stay safe every one. We will get through this together!!!!

Hi Alison and welcome to the forum!

The weather hasn't been great on the Costa Blanca this week and more rain forecast for the weekend, so you're not missing much, LOL!  Hopefully, it will perk up soon and you'll be able to get out here in the summer, if not before.

Best wishes,

Kim

Hi Alison, as Kim said weather not great, but better than UK I'm sure. We are booked to return to UK on 30th March, but as we have been in lockdown here since last weekend we are thinking of staying put as UK still deciding on what to do. We work remotely luckily but are arranging for important work papers to be sent over as well as my medication. However, changes are happening daily so not sure if/when we will return to UK and then back to Spain. So much uncertainty, everywhere. Good luck and stay well.

It may help you to keep up to date with new legislation for the current situation if you keep an eye on the N332 Facebook page, as they post updates on a regular basis.   It is run in conjunction with officers of the Guardia Civil for English speaking people and usually it is just for anything to do with driving in Spain, but the current situation has meant that they have added information regarding the virus.

Hi Grahame, getting my meds has been a problem as UK GP rejected my on-line order Friday just gone as it was too early, I had to call them to say I actually left 1 months worth at home not knowing we'd be stuck here. Hopefully they will approve it and my daughter can pick them up; we are arranging DHL to deliver work stuff to us and can include them. If not, then I will ask them to email the prescription and try and get it here. I managed to buy an inhaler that ran out but was charged €51, so would rather use prescription here with EHIC card as it would be cheaper.

Hi Grahame,

Glad you got them, not so good the prices but better to have them. My GP still won't supply mine yet so have to wait till end of April to get prescription sent. We could be stuck here for quite a few months so that's my only option now.

Keep well.

Janet.
