I come to spain every 6 months I think that should be fine but wasn't aware had to change the driving licence to a Spanish one withing the 1st 6 months ,will that be a problem do you think
You should urgently check that your residency is still valid. You cannot just get residency in Spain and then live in the UK for any length of time within the first 5 years.

There are reasons for being away
One of them is work and things are getting a bit difficult in the UK for many people just because some of us decided to leave the EU without any knowledge of what could be the consequences,
Total ignorance .....

Has anyone been able to take an appointment in Alicante to exchange their uk driving licence ,doesn't seem to be working for me.
Am I looking at the wrong place

Can't find the UK listed on the pais selection part

Can't find the UK listed on the pais selection part

If you look at the links and on the board, it says that for the exchange of a UK licence you have to select office procedures and not exchange foreign licence. So choose the option office formalities.
No idea why but UK does not show up on the list of countries but it does say select office procedures and fill in that form.
Several posters have done it that way and also by calling 060.
Although it does come up and say all appointments are booked for the next several days, please try later.

Tried office formalities but you're right I think they mention right at the bottom of page to try again in the next few days

Hi Have been able at long last to get an appointment in Cartagena, will have a wee day out lol just need to get all documents together now!!! Thanks again Marcliff for all your help and information and patience
