Hi there

I have an Irish passport, live in the U.K. and have a U.K. driving licence

Under Brexit, can l stay/live in Spain on my Irish passport 365 days without being a Spanish resident AND drive 365 days on my U.K. driving licence?

Thank you

Happy 2022 to everyone

You cannot live in Spain 365, legally, on your ROI passport without becoming a Spanish Resident.

Residency then entails a change of driving licence.

Best wishes for 2022.

Depends where you live in UK,if it is NI then you can change your UK licence for an Irish,( EU) licence .

If you are not a Spanish resident you are still subject to the 90 day rule as an Irish citizen as Ireland is not part of the Schengen treaty.

Become a resident and everything is plain sailing.
