  • Media Markt, La Zenia Boulevard have been giving me a hard time over a laptop/tablet that  I bought from them in APRIL 2018. I took it home and started setting it up but everthing that I tried to do kept kept coming up " Wrong Password". I didnt think anything about the new machine thinking it was my fault. I change passwords several times for emails and other sites. BUT THEN. Apple locked my IPad because I had entered too many Wrong passwords
  • I should have known better than to shop there as I had a previous faulty "BOSE" sound system that only lasted a week and when returned got no help other than to claim on my insurance that I had bought at the time of purchase. That worked, no thanks to Media Markt and then it was not money back but a CREDIT NOTE
  • Within days I returned the machine to Media Markt and they admitted liability as the computer had "stickey Keys" mind you that took several days to as it was sent to Madrid for repair . Next an email from the manufacturer informining me that it would cost me 100Euros to fix it. Another trip to Media Markt and that is when they said "No Charge" to me and the computer would be back within 2 Days. From there it has just got worse. After repeated visits to the store and requesting either Money Back, an Exchange Machine or the original returned fixed Nothing. Everytime I went to the store and asked to see the manager I got a similar reply. She is in a meeting, its her day off, she is out, etc etc and so I was advised to ask for a "Complaint form" which I did and they fobbed me off with an internal memo. Which looked very official. I showed it to a guy who works at a Ford Garage and he laughed and told me that I had been conned and to return to Media Markt and demand a proper form or I would call the police. OK that worked and I got the form with more promisses of a quick return of my computer. After more threats of legal action and with the form made out in Spanish I returned again. I was aked to hold the form for a couple of days and the computer would be delivered to my house but they would phone to let me know. A week later and nothing so I told them that I was going to deliver the form to the Consumer office in Torrevieja. After half a day trapesing around council offices I eventually found the right place which was litterally heaving with people.  I took my turn and after waiting for 30 numbers to be called a young lady just took my form. spoke to another lady, banged 2 /3 stamps on the form, tore one copy off and gave to me filing the others, Then she said "finish" wait for a letter.
  • My question is does anyone know what I should expect next??????

A reply from the consumer office in Torrevieja. However you would have been quicker going into the office in the Ayuntamiento in O Costa (as that is where torrevieja will ultimately send it). Alternatively, if you live in S Miguel, the office in the ayuntamiento there.
