Was held hostage and masked by Ryanair to Dublin (well for at least 1 hour, till I started ordering food and drink and they couldn't hear, so told me to take mask off). Had words with pilot on way out and he begged me to start getting public to kick up over Ryanair rules that don't apply on other airlines. Follow the science, ha ha , airlines have the best air circulation and filtering but I had to wear a mask, but on arrival in Dublin I hopped on a bus with no air-con/filtering, but the windows were open, AND NO MASKS

We mustn't forget though that the virus hasn't suddenly disappeared.....

I will be wearing my mask, as are many other people, at all times for the foreseeable future.

Steve

Your quite right, I went out last weekend no mask wearing, Monday I felt rough, Tuesday I tested positive for covid symptoms man flu, temperature, shaking, cough, soar throat, blocked nose, headache lack of appetite and aching all over in bed for 3 days, wife in separate room but she tested positive on Thursday her symptoms very similar but not as bad, (but us men normally get things worse lol.)

Today Sunday still blocked nose and coughing but otherwise ok, my wife the same blocked nose and cough..

Both of us had all the jabs booster included and I had the flu jab also. So it’s still about, I’m glad we had the vaccinations. Keep safe.

You probably have some pre-existing conditions. I never had a vaccination, for flu or anything else. Never cough, or have headache or any other issues. Can't understand all the fuss.

Funny enough Boca Grande I don't know what any pre existing health issues have to do with catching covid but I don't have any maybe do a bit of research, but you are my no 1 hero for being so flippant about the pandemic well done.

By the way I'm feeling very well now.

Perhaps you,d like to explain why there's no need for the fuss to the millions of people who have lost a loved one to this virus. There are still people dying of it even now. Being flippant doesn't cover it!

I am sure you know that the overwhelming majority of them had either pre-existing conditions or came in touch with one who had.

If you lead a healthy lifestyle and avoid large gatherings, then you have no worries.

I think you,re wrong stating overwhelming majority had pre-existing conditions, maybe true to say majority were elderly with lower immune systems but many healthy younger and children were affected too. As to avoiding large social gatherings, it only takes 1 person with no symptoms to pass it on. I also don't think keeping a healthy lifestyle has anything to do with it, your lifestyle can't guarantee your immunity. As you have never had any vaccinations, you could still be a carrier.

Sorry Villa's, don't wish to participate in this thread anymore. It just makes me angry that someone should think that too much fuss has been made over the pandemic, having lost 2 dear friends myself. That's my last word on subject.
