Hope everyone is keeping well, sad that some are using forum to quibble and be negative at a time when many are losing their loved ones are seriously ill and medical profession pushed to the limit risking their lives to help others. It would be kinder to give some support and offer help rather than fighting each other.  As for the negative comments about hysteria over covid 19, its easy when its not your dearest and loved family dying from this disease.  Its a horrible death, and no one deserves to die that way,or  a car accident or from influenza.

Many have died in Italy in a very short time not just a figure real people loved ones. In one day many in Madrid. Do figures matter at this time, the fact is no one should be dying, I am sure if we had to face a nursing home full of dead people who had been deserted, and bodies piling up as funeral services refuse to collect as they do not have protective equipment its a horror situation.  Those critical members should go to Madrid and volunteer perhaps that will make you see how serious this is.  Just stop and think about those dealing with the crisis and put your hands together and clap loudly for them.

Hi Kevman,

Alex didn't just put 'Reverend' on the "naughty step", he banned him from the forum.  Reverend's nasty posts have gone from this thread, so it no longer reads in context, but he really was very unpleasant.  In 'normal' times, his behaviour would have been unacceptable, but even more so in such difficult times, when many people are using this forum to keep in touch with each other.  The last thing they need is to be trolled by an abusive member.  Thankfully, Alex moved swiftly to ban Reverend.

Kind regards,

Kim

Sanchez has announced that the state of aler/emergency has been extended for another 15 days to April 12.

It's the real deal folks and he says the worst is yet to come.😢

Even more important NOW to follow the restrictions and stay home barr getting supplies and medicines.

Good luck folks 😡😢

Are we allowed out to go for food and medicines still?

Yes you are. One person only.  Observe social distancing and wear plastic gloves were available.

If they close the Supermarkets ( there is no evidence they EVER would) , if they did then we will be in a world of hurt.

HOWEVER,  all is good for now. The supermarkets are running an excellent system as best they can God bless them.

Obey the restrictions,  Stay at home as much as possible and stay healthy ok and keep yourself updated on the forum. They are many great, helpful, knowledgeable members up here who are doing a sterling job keeping us all informed of issues and events and thus keeping us Safe.

Keep well in heart and mind folks.

Take care.
