...sian workers, there were a few notable exceptions. I travelled all over the N. half and Masirah. The last time was about 9 years ago.

The Pea men are usually surrounded by people (who are all involved in the scam) who shout loudly when  they "win" enticing others to have a go.

I've seen many holidaymakers loose hundreds of euros thinking that they could beat the Pea men, it won't happen....

Keep clear and keep walking is my advice, the Pea men make a very good living out of this scam and while holidaymakers are having a good look they are also likely to get their pockets picked too....
