I am sure it was the fashion police    

In school  (Tenby) a group of us found a lot of change on one beach  ,so bought cider and battery water,  arrested by the Police  (not charged)

Then some of us tried this new "drug" called gunpowder  (the Police let us off)   

  mid 80s  I was yet again pulled into Bath Police station asked many questions   OK I admit now it was me   "who planted cannabis seeds in the front plant pots"         

So the UK is a Police state   always has been

Our many free newspapers obviously report crimes,but nothing out of the ordinary,that you wouldn't find anywhere else? 

We lived in Manchester....enough said!

I'd go out at night without my husband.

Both of us have always felt safer here than the uk.

If we go into Town at night,we feel perfectly safe.

I wouldn't say the crime rate is high here at all.

Squatters are rearing their ugly heads,but if you report they have broken in,in the first 24 hours of them moving in,you have a good chance of getting them out.

I wouldn't hesitate to move here,cost of living us amazing too.

Cost of living amazing? We returned from Torreveija in October and found the food prices a lot higher in supermarkets than back home,personal care item nearl twice the price in some cases.Cost of eating out was on par what we pay in uk.

Eating out...............In the UK last year 11quid for a Margarita pizza, 6E here. English breakfast, 3.5E + here. But you can pay  200E also depending where you go and and eat and drink. A pint of lager here normally 2.50E.

... do not have or need a car so.....no car tax, insurance, mot, repair or maintenance costs and no petrol bills....

Eating out is around half price which often includes a bottle of wine. Beer half price. Bus price is €1.55 to anywhere in a 10 mile radius of Benidorm centre. Healthcare is second to none and much more efficient than the UK health service. 

Sunshine, beaches a healthy lifestyle......perfect.
