Blimey Charlie...go into the iberdrola website and register an account and then it all magically happens ..had the app on my tablet for 20 years :) ..loads of useful information despite what the guy says about why bother and his underfloor air heaters etc yawn  ..you need to manage your electricity usage...I rent my to holiday makers..yes I have a tourist licence and pay tax on it all before the righteous brigade start ...solar panels are the answer in Spain..yes installation if you need it a cost but so much cheaper than ten years ago and you will get the reward if you are in it for the long term...how do I know...? At my other house I am completely off grid with solar panels and wind turbine so no electric bill..gas bottle cooking and heating...rarely use a backup  generator for an hour twice a week on a rainy day if required fueled by petrol..no electric bill is a dream and anyone who suggests you don't need to manage energy costs is mad or too well off or both 

Just register an account on the main website then it will happen ...vpn nonsense..not paying 50 quid a year for that when it's not needed

I think the app you need is the "i-de" Iberdrola app which shows your consumption and other details about your usage. Its not just for smart meters.

It depends to which country your App Store account is registered which is usually the country to which your device is registered, many app versions are only available to specific countries.
