...ment as they had already canceled my trip twice. The young lady who was dealing with my complaint immediately dropped the extra charge. In my opinion, it was the right thing to do.
I was waiting 45 minutes for them to answer the phone but I recon that it was worth it. It's always worth being nice and asking the question.
You bet it was the right thing to do ,as you rightly pointed out you had crossings cancelled and why should you pay extra cost ,it doesn't matter which way you look at things ,companies have hiked prices and Joe public has to fork out ,am glad you had savvy to challenge and in your case you have benefited ,well done
