Where are you heading? petrol stations I would think will be open, but possibly not the food areas?
Don’t travel too far in one go, mentally it will kill you, take lots of breaks and take care, there’s no rush if where your going is on lockdown in Spain this is only day 3

Spain is on lock down until the end of the month, we live in Catral and can only go to the supermarket and chemist or medical centres locally. If anybody is found out for any other reason the police and army will fine you.
In the context of the OP this is incorrect. The Decree allows for people to travel "back" to their main abode. Whether that allows a border crossing to do so I'm not sure.
Don't think you'll be able to drive through Spain, we live in Catral and its strict lock down, one person in your family is allowed to go to the supermarket and chemist, Guardia Civil and the army will stop you. If there is more than 1 person in the car you'll get fined. Please ask the police what you will be allowed to do. Also Spain is shutting the border at midnight

It is, but in their case, arriving together at the border in a car, without title deeds, residencia, regardless of being "homeless" they might very well be turned away. One for the Consulate perhaps.

Well if that's the case Penny you should be fine. Perhaps also take a copy of the UK house completion statement from your solicitor (maybe what you're referring to). I would expect that when they see the documents they'd let you through ok. However, if it was me I would definitely speak to the Consulate before setting out.
Steve
If you have proof of residence in Spain you might get through but I wouldn't chance it.
