Could anyone help me with getting NIE in Alicante, i need a spanish bank account and i need NIE for that or any of you could give me some info like is there any bank that doesnt want NIE?

To be honest, you need a NIE number for lots of things in Spain, not just to open a bank account, but for purchases of any large item above a couple of hundred euros. You need it for any type of utility bill and even the postman will ask for your NIE number if you need to sign for mail.
Try a local gestor,, they usually know how to get quicker appointments

Ive had 3 courier deliveries in the last week ( all different couriers) & all needed my NIE number before handing over packages - not even my signature in 2 cases - just NIE.

We opened bank acc with Bankinter in Alicante near Central Mercado.
As non residents we needed NIE, passports, annual tax documents (p60s) from own country and evidence of work or retirement! That was 2017.
Costs for 2022 will be €120 maintenance plus debit card another €30. 🙄
Similar to other banks I believe for non residents.
Cajamar Bank have recently opened up several branches in Alicante. I will try to open acc there asap.

Yes we are asked for NIE for all utilities, major purchases etc.

I can recommend opening an account with "Wise" online banking.
To avoid banking fees you could sign up with Wise online banking and pay all your direct debits or transfer money from bank accounts worldwide.
You will find that many of the posters on this forum have closed their Spanish bank accounts and moved to Wise online.

Banco Sabadell was happy to open my account without an NIE last April 2021 as I needed to transfer funds to pay a deposit on a villa. Sabadell required my UK P60 and the promise of the NIE which I was due to get a week or so later (I had to wait a few weeks for my appointment etc). I had been under the impression I needed the NIE prior to visiting the bank but my estate agent assured me it was not necessary .........and he was correct.
