Available without a prescription in Spain. Although may be sold under another name. The pharmacist will be able to check that for you.
Cheers, J
I believe you need a prescription.

The info I gave I copied from a page for healthcare professionals, why not go to the chemist first?

Do you have any private healthcare cover? If not you could try to get an appointment with a local private doctor or ask at your local clinic if they issue temporary SIP cards, if so get an appointment with a doctor at the clinic. Prescriptions are not easy to get in Spain. Go to your local Farmacia and ask them for non Prescription sleeping tablets.
