Moving over to Benidorm at last in April - Page 2

Hi Everyone I am leaving uk and catching a ferry to Spain and driving down to Benidorm and have rented a flat for a year in Benidorm itself. 
Any tips or guidance you experts have gathered over your time in Spain would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

...s out in Spain then the only legal way to repatriate the car would be via a transport company.

Please check if your UK driving licence will still be valid for the later part of your stay. Registering as a Spanish resident during your stay may invalidate your UK driving licence after 6 months.

...previous appointment in November. I was informed all my UK banks accounts statements would be suffice which was wrong. The Police wasn't interested in my uk bank. I'm led to believe its only the Alicante region that requires you to have a Spanish bank account?

The cards are only issued providing you have a valid Irish Passport and are valid for 5 years or untill the expiration of the Passport whichever is earlier. Believe me it is. If you hold a UK passport also do not mention at any interviews with the authorities that you are dual national. Only declare as Irish.
