May I ask how you knew they were police drones? (without sounding like a t0sser... did they have livery to suggest they were the police?)

My point is there are very strict codes of practice in place for the use of drones and if they are 'private' drones you have the ability to make formal complaints. Google is your friend....

...

That said, how you control the use of private drones is very hit and miss.

I asked the same question 😄 The OP saw the Policia Nacional with the drones before flying.

Kind regards,

Kim

Surprisingly enough, the bigger one of the 2 actually had a small flashing blue light on the side... Not kidding you.

By the way, how many of you spotted the lights, looked like aircrafts kinda, on Monday night at round about  10'ish, going over Benidorm?? +_28 of them...

I didn't mean watching just our apartment, sorry. It was right in front and also passing a number of apartment blocks... As our apartment block is right on the beach front, there are no streets, only the ocean. I saw them hanging in front of another apartment, direct in front for probably 3min or...

... so. I did not see them patrolling streets..

But there is the beach next to the sea and people are beginning in places to use it for sunbathing, which is not allowed, and not just for walking on as part of the one hour daily exercise that is allowed for one adult with up to 3 children.   Warnings have been given but now the police are beginning to enforce the law and fines are being handed out, I believe.
