Yes, it is allowed. Its just another of the many bank holidays. (red days) Can't imagine it being a problem.

Our neighbours below decided to start drilling and hammering at 6am today!   They were still at it by 8am . :(

I have someone working right outside my front door although the owner isn’t here, I do know he works for a legal company.

Look at it this way, by working today they will finish a day earlier.

Putting things in perspective .... Do you ever wonder who was bothered when they built your house and/or if you have or will have repairs or alterations‽

You’d think builders would be a little more considerate, I mean…. Starting at 8am, sure that’s the middle of the night for some people 😂.

“Complaining is truly ones strongest weakness.”

Take a look at the article attached.

https://rightcasa.com/know-your-rights-noisy-construction-work-in-spain/

According to the Spanish Citizens Advice Bureau building works are allowed between 8am - 9pm weekdays, 9:30am - 9pm weekends and holidays.

Personally I think the best advice in the article is to get noise cancelling headphones!
