Villa Joyosa rugby club - about 30 mins drive from Calpe, having only arrived to live here permanently in March, we’ve not had the opportunity to visit it yet (due to Covid) just Google it, looks good - may see you there sometime 😁😁

Yes, I've seen this club online but was wondering if there is another one closer to Calpe.
If that is the closest one, I will definately see you there, I'd even let you buy me a beer :)

I have heard of a club in Denia some years ago. Maybe it still exists.

https://costacobras.es/ Hi There is a club called costa cobras at la marina about 35 mins from you, they have a web site (link posted) I haven't had chance to go up there yet, but will be going soon.
hope I will see you up there in the not too distant future.

La Marina is 35 minutes from Calpe? Must be taking the wrong roads myself then!
Think Villajoyosa is your best and closest bet.
