Can anyone recommend: Freelance Car mechanic
Does anyone know of a freelance car mechanic near Calpe who is willing to come to my house and take a look at my Peugeot 306. The battery went flat, but when the neighbour offered me a charge to start it up, my ignition lights went out and I think a fuse or something may have blown. I have bought a new battery and brought it home, but the Peugeot garage I usually use in Villamarina near Benissa tells me that they will not send someone out and that I must have the car recovered and brought into their workshops. This sounds expensive to me for what may be a simple procedure. So I was wondering whether there is a mechanic who will come round and take a look. Also, alternatively, can anyone recommend a way to get the car towed or recovered from my house in Calpe if it needs taking to Vilamarina. The car is an automatic, so I can't just roll it down the hill for a kickstart and will need the ignition fixed to get it going. Thank you. Any help or advice will be appreciated. Philip Roberts
