Hello

My elderly parents live in Denia & love it so do all of our family.

Dad isnt really upto the drive to & from Denia to Alicante Airport if we visit

Which is the easiest/cheapest way i.e. taxi/train as i am thinking of a surprise visit

Ive looked into it but doesnt seem straight forward

Any help is very much appreciated as i miss them dearly

Thank you

Julie

Unless anyone who knows Denia comes up with more specific details, I always start with Google maps, asking for directions from one place to the other, clicking on the public transport icon and then click on the transport provider for more details. Rome2rio is another one I use.

Have a look at https://www.beniconnect.com it’s a shuttle service. I have used it myself (to a different destination). The price was very reasonable compared to having to get a taxi. Looking at their website Denia is listed as one of their destinations. It’s 100% legal.

The train takes around 3 hours and you will need a taxi from the airport to the station. In all honesty it’s much easier either to use Beniconnect or to get a taxi. Admitted.y this is not cheap but they will be waiting for you, no hassle and drop you at the door. Last time we went from Calpe to airport it was around 90 eu but we just gritted our teeth!

Yes looks good if your flight is at a good time.

My plane lands 1 hour after last bus  I'm getting a taxi. €119

We are traveling next week and our hotel have arranged at taxi to collect us. 130eu one way. Slightly eye watering but we just want to enjoy our holiday with minimal hassle so have factored it in as part of the cost. We're arriving at 9pm so didn't want to be hanging about for hours waiting for buses etc. (though we may have done so if we had been getting there much earlier).
