Hi, we are going to take a punt a book flights for summer, we usually use Hertz to hire our car from, but I’m reading that Hertz USA has filed for bankruptcy, does anyone know if this has affected their Spanish operations.

Hertz have filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection in the US which basically prevents their creditors from petitoning for bankruptcy and gives them breathing space to try and dig themselves out of the very big mess they are in so for the moment at least there should be little or nothing for customers to be worried about.
That said prospects for the future do not look promising and they were in considerable trouble before Covid brought the whole industry to a virtual stsndstill so with plenty of other providers out there common sense would say book elsewhere.
