If you are dealing with some Spanish companies or some authorities they will only contact you on a SPANISH number.
A small spanish registered phone will cost cost almost nothing especially if you are on pay as you go.
Not worth getting bothered about!!

I have been living in Spain for over 20 years,and dealt with many Spanish companies and shops,and have always used my uk number,and never had any refuse to call, so I would say what you say is very unlikely.

Also sounds a teeny bit racist to refuse to call only Spanish numbers.

Whatever Dave I will differ with what you say as i have had certain companies who will not call a UK phone because they say it is to expensive.

Hi Ive kept my tesco mobile about 800 mins for £7 they stopped my data after 3 months but kept my minutes. I also have a Spanish mobile for use here. I bought a mobile Wilko Jerry 2 it takes 2 SIM cards so I have 2 phones in one it lets you choose which sim to use calling contacts safes you carrying 2 phones.
If your contacts are all mobile back in the uk install what's app on a Spanish phone and just use that.
