Hi everybody. Is there a big market on Elche city on Fridays? I seem to recall there was one last year in September on a Friday, down by the big palm park and the archaeological museum? If not, please could someone advise where there is a big one on and how to find it? We have visitors this week and I’d like to take them there. Many thanks all!

Hi Mai65, There are a few markets in Elche throughout the week.One is every Wednesday opposite to Aldi near the university, there is one in san Anton on friday .The best one is on sunday at the football stadium its huge and you can buy everything there.The veg and fruit is very cheap but shop around , clothes shoes curtains matresses everything.Go early because otherwise you can't walk freely. We normally go around 09:30.Check on line if the football team are playing at home if they are away the market is on.The Wednesday market is small but great prices for fruit and veg clothes etc.HAPPY SHOPPING 😉
