Seeking hobbitechnicians steam enthousiast in the Elche region

We are living in the Elche area, both pensioners, and we are wondering if there any more steam enthousiast or hobbitechnicians in the area.

Steam for us is model engineering locomotive 7 1/inch scale live steam. Also model traction engines, stationary engines etc. Visit steam events.

We have a fully equipped workshop and thinking if a coffee round once a month or so? Starting a small steamclub in this area.

All nationalities welcome of course.

I would be interested. There does not appear to be much steam here in Spain so it has been difficult to get my fix. I'm an ex volunteer from the Watercress line. MHR. Feel free to DM

Have you tried contacting the railway enthusiasts in Torrellano. Some of the little engines there are steam. Even if it’s not exactly what you are looking for, they may be able to advise if any other groups are up and running.
