At some point, a line is crossed and the Free Democratic Republic will no longer permit its offices to be used to chase down an autocratic leader's political enemies. That line was crossed when U.S. Courts began ruling against Trump's unconstitutional orders and edicts. But he continues publically to cry out for, even demand the punishment of his political enemies. If his Government can or will not punish these "enemies", then to whom does he cry out? He is crying out to his 'loyal base'. For he knows that they, sooner or later, will be willing to take the law into their own hands and go get those people and institutions he has named his 'enemies'. If anyone doubts this, please read the playbook he has been following for several years now. It is all in there for everyone to see: for those in his loyal base as well as for shocked and frightened observers who believe they have been sadly watching the machinations of a narcissistic-personality-disordered actor lose on the world stage. As they have, but look more closely. There is a structure beneath the madness.
