No. We had an attestation ready but the police weren’t interested and just waved us through into France. Didn’t even ask for our passports.

I want to go back by car from Guardamar to Holland next week ..
what happend in French border ? they did not ask you for an a paper authorization?
can somebody answer me ?

Hi Jean,
This is the information available to UK citizens on our government's website, it includes a link to the French attestation form, which you must complete:
https://www.gov.uk/foreign-travel-advice/france/coronavirus
It also states that if you are travelling from or through France, you should check the situation at your destination before you travel. Does the government of the Netherlands publish similar information for its citizens?
