...as the we have had they are long lists for housing etc and we will need a substantial amount to at least get started as we wait for approval.
The issue of online scammer is terrible as it has disadvantaged so many genuine people seeking for assistance. Hopefully they will be better ways of catching the culprits in future.
Once again thank you all for your support, will continue to soldier on until something works out.
Hugs and kisses to all you wonderful people.
Alice.
Hello Alice, I live in Guardamar & cannot help you directly, but you must not be alone in this situation and need to make contact with some authorized organization to help you. Have you tried Caritas which is usually close to a church hall or parish centre. You don't have to be Christian, just proof of your status as tenants, electricity or water bills, registered with an NIE number, SIP Health Card, Padron, Passport etc.
I think that the same applies to the Red Cross (Cruz Rojo), your town appears to be large enough for them to have a Red Cross office or day centre; you may get information from the library (biblioteca) or if you are near EL Clot Natural Park, they may have information about local volunteer groups that may be able to help with telephone numbers.
I hope that this will steer you along a useful route, Peter
