Is there any problem using a UK debit or credit card contactless in Spain? It used to be that you had to produce a passport or other ID when using a card.
What is contactless limit?

The contactless limit is set by your card provider. No problem at all using cards. I can’t remember having to show ID ever since PIN numbers were invented. In the unlikely event of you being asked for ID, it shouldn’t be a problem as you have to carry photo ID with you at all times anyway.
Just remember that cash is still very much the preferred method of payment in Spain. Many bars/restaurants do not accept card payments.

Thanks for that - I have always used cash in restaurants but wondered if there was now a move to cards as there is in the UK
