Wanted: Advice on buying privately

Can anyone provide advise on buying a car privately for example transfer of ownership , checks to ensure vehicle not stolen etc

All you need to do is pop into a Gestoria before any money changes hands & they will take care of everything for you. You can then hand the money over to the seller for the vehicle & the Gestor for the transfer and checks.

Before buying check the papers for how many owners and tech background. Otherwise you may get a pig in a poke. Also be aware to pay a transfer tax depending on make and age, not on shape.
