Am I hearing it correctly that both France and Spain are re thinking about watering the 90 day rule down thanks

Hi,

    there a couple of posts earlier in this section related to the changes that France are considering to the extended visa process for non-resident second home owners. Nothing substantial from Spain on this yet other than media reports.

 Quite a candid update in the attached article dated 6 days ago.

Don't hold your breath.

It's a Schengen rule which neither France nor Spain can unilaterally modify.

You say that Darro but  France do alrready allow non-residents who own property in France to buy a extended stay visa.

The EU council  stated that no individual country can not charge any rules like 90 day rule.
