Hi Matt,

The fee is €12.  If you followed my guide, you will have seen how to generate the Modelo 790-012 payment form.

Kind regards,

Kim

I made my application for the TIE Card on 15 Jan 21 and am waiting to collect it.

Is there anywhere I can check if it's ready for collection, as I live 1hr drive away, or does anyone know if Lote 2021/013 is ready?

Am I correct that you don't need to make an appointment for collection in Alicante?

Hi RAL,

When you went for your fingerprint appointment, you should have been advised how long you should wait before collecting your TIE card.  The most recent feedback I've seen is that it's taking about 7 weeks, so yours will probably be available in the second half of March.  To check whether your card is ready, you can call (00 34) 965 125 531.

You don't need to make an appointment for collection, but just to remind you that you go to a different police station to collect your TIE (it’s about 2km from the office where you went for your initial application and there’s a large car park alongside it):

Calle Campo de Mirra 6

The office is open from 9.00 - 14.00, Monday to Friday.

Kind regards

Kim
