I simply asked if getting a takeaway is allowable? If I am in Spain or UK I obey the law. That is not the same as thinking a law is a good one. If it were permissible to go and get a takeaway then I think we should all try and support restaurants. Carry on like this and Spain will have no bars or...

... restaurants as they all go bust.

Hi i have a restaurant and normaly also take away, but it is not allowed. It is a drama for the restaurant who can do also take away. But when you do and the police see you then you can never open again . The fine is very high.

Local restaurants are doing take away deliveries but they have accessed a special licence..although they are regularly stopped and checked by the police during delivery times they are not stopped from delivering  so it must be legal.

Hi i check at the list of the Ayutamiento but there are no restaurant for take away or delivery. Only the supermercados, farmacia, y butchers etc have permission. The rest not. That means no take away/ bring service food is allowed from restaurants.

It's a National Decree so one of you is wrong. There are no "local" variations.

All I know is a local restaurant in Benimar have been delivering meals for the last few weeks...with permission and regularly stopped and checked by the police 👮‍♂️ If this was incorrect do you think the powers that be would be turning a blind eye ..and not prosecuting the English owner?

Just sayin....don’t want to get into a heated debate ..I’m have no hidden interest except that I have a dinner every Sunday from them and very good it is too!

But many towns do appear to 'tweek' the national rules and regulations for their own procedures.

Are you having a laugh?

It's a national state of alarm with the same regulations for all of the Generalitat. The regulations have been posted on these forums many times.

No sir, I am not having a laugh. It was a genuine question, as I have not seen this in the decree stating that home deliveries of pre-cooked food are not allowed. As this is a forum, I asked you. I have seen deliveries continuing here. Although not partaking in this service, I was wondering if you had indication as to its legality. Thanks
