Cataract operations ,health service spain

Some time soon I am going for cataract surgery on my right eye. How much time on average do people wait for the second eye to be done? Thanks

My wife had a mandatory 3 month wait between cataracts. It was almost 3 months to the day when she went for the second one after a couple of checkups in between. That was Torrevieja hospital. Quiron, the private one, say they only wait a week before doing the second one.

My wife had her right eye done first then waited about four months Torrevieja hospital.

I had my left eye cataract op early this year in February. Had an appointment April for follow up and told needed right eye cataract operation. Prior to op got appointment for bloods and e.c.g., then appointment this July for anaesthetist appointment. After all this will be given an operation day appointment if this runs to par with first op as had happened with previous left eye op. So I think it takes about 6 months start to finish more or less as things are currently operating.
