Hi Janet ....Your solicitor should have sorted this for you, have you checked with them that they have done this? They usually arrange for the bills to be paid by direct debit from your bank account.

If direct debits aren't already set up, then you can set up direct debits after registering for online access.

As others have said your Solicitor should have set up the Contracts and Direct Debits, then you an register to use their Virtual Offices and go paperless for you bills and monitor your account whether in Spain or back in the U.K.

Hi there , my solicitor set up the direct debit for water and electric and my annual suma bill , I have put the Iberdrola app on my mobile which is excellent , you can see what you are using and how much the monthly bill is , they also send me an email about 2 weeks before they are going to take the payment , I’m hoping I can do something similar with the water .

Good luck in your new home 😀

The Water companies have a very similar Virtual Office on their Websites.
