Help to get from La Hoya to La Marina

We live just outside La Hoya near La Marina and my daughter attends Kings College in Alicante. Every other week I am unable to take her to and collect her from La Marina where she gets the school bus. Are there any alternatives on how she can get there and back without a taxi? I can't find any bus that's run between the two regularly. Thanks in advance
