No problem, I have checked the internet and this is a Tyros 1 as it has a floppy disc drive in place of the newer 2 onward USB interface, the floppy drive can be replaced with an emulator purchased from ebay we did not do it as it was not needed.

The Tyros was Yamaha's flagship keyboard when the spinnet organs such as the D85 died out and all are dalled "Digital Work Stations". As you may know the 2,3,4 were virtually identical only having minor upgrades in RAM and Software and a replacement for floppy drive, but 5 and 6's were far better.

I have found on the internet a 2008 Tyros 2 for £2654 in UK so good luck.

I hope this helps you in your search.

Hi,

Thanks for replying.  It looks as though I may well be interested in your keyboard.   I am certainly not professional in any way.   I used to have a Yamaha keyboard for 3000 pounds sterling when I lived in England, sadly I sold it.   I now have another keyboard that I purchased out here but I have not played it for years as it will not do what I want it to.   I used to be able to set up the registration keys so that I could switch [with the foot pedal] between the orchestra and oboe when I was playing classical music.   I can only switch by hand with the keyboard I have.   If your keyboard switches on the registration keys with the foot pedal then I am looking to purchase it.   As I have said I am not professional in any way but I have been told that the Tyros 1, 2 and 3 do switch the registration keys with the foot pedal switch.   If you are able to help me here I would be grateful.   We live in El Chaparrel so not far from La Marina.   Tomorrow morning we are busy but could pop over tomorrow afternoon or Sunday morning if you were able to tell me that you machine would do what I am looking for.   I await hearing from you, best wishes,   I apologise for all the questions I am putting you way but do not want to purchase another keyboard I will not use.

Hi Andrea,

The Tyros we have does everything you asked except that we do not have the switch pedal itself. Also I have tested the organ and it works perfect except for no speaker output sound only headphones. In view of this you are wecome to comeand tryn it with the phones but not buy. I am now looking into findibg a repair who can mend the fault. It is only a minor component break as wehave headphones therefore the fault is probably in the headphone jack not resetting the main feed ( MECHANICAL), or a diode switch has failed in the feed from the headphone jack to main speakers. call me on 685307264

Hi

Just a quick update, if you want to come try it out I have been playing it Using our Bose IPOD docking station and it sounds better than the expensive Yamaha option  speaker system. I am also now waiting on Yamaha Alicante for repair info.
