La Marina urbanisation comes under the control of San Fulgencio.
La Marina village comes under Elche, it will closed off at the weekend as all towns with a population of over 50,000 are.
Not sure of the times but think it will be closed mid afternoon Friday until Monday morning. Try N332 for accurate times as suggested in a previous post.

Just one point. The village does not have a population of anywhere near 50000 never mind more. The rule applies to individual cities with large pops like Elche, Alicante etc. Not the small villages within.They are all on the info I posted earlier.

Yes but isn’t it the municipality boundaries Elche - Orihuela that count rather than individual towns ?

Don't know if this is a reliable newspaper, or something has been lost in translation. It says, towns and cities with 50000 inhabitants.
