Printing COVID status from the NHS App

Greetings! I can access my COVID vaccine details from the NHS App. I believe you can also print details from this App to get a paper copy - I realise you can also get one through the post from 119. Don't want to trouble them if I can do it myself.
There is a 'Share' option which brings up a QR/barcode. Obviously you can show this to Border Control and they can scan it to see the details. However, is it possible to access this from the phone itself and thus print off your own copy? I've tried to read it using a QR code reader from another phone but it won't do it. Any ideas anybody please? I have an iPhone 7.
