If you are a non resident you will be charged extremely high bank maintenance fees at all the major Spanish banks  possibly up to €60 per quarter.

A lot of forum members have opted for online banking such as Wise Internet Bank. Minimal charges and you can get an EU IBAN number.

Spainish  Bank  Rip  off  merchants. I  did not use a Spainish  Bank  to purchase  my Apartment.  I  lodge funds into my Solicitors  Client  holding account.  Set  up a Wise bank account  and avoid  big quarterly  fees.  Then tell you Solicitors  you wish to transfer  funds to his Holding account.  If  Solicitors  not  happy  with arrangement  walk  back out the door. There is plenty  that will accept  this arrangement.  As Spainish  Banker draft very expensive.  Save your a few hundred quid

Hope this 🙏  helps 🙏 😌

Please  do NOT  USE  The Estate agents  recommendation  as they  are very  expensive  and they  will  not  look after your personal  interest.  I  will PM  my  Solicitors  Details  and you can use  WhatsApp  to conduct  proceedings. Until  signature  is required.  He is based in Punta Prima  about 15 driving  time from La Marina. He has another  office in Torrevieja  but sure where.

The conveyancer, 800 euros plus vat, every solicitor was 1000 plus vat, have already signed and paid deposit 🤷‍♂️
