La marina services (garage)

Even better, does anyone know why it has closed down, there was police tape on the gate and doors a few weeks ago. A friend has a couple of cars there. 

It may help someone if you advise whether it is La Marina the urbanisation or La Marina the town.

Is there a la marina services garage in the village?

If you don't know why bother leaving a negative unhelpfull post

Why do you have to comment each time someone mentions La Marina, the original poster has told us the name of the garage, that must be enough.

I have just been informed by one of the local police officers I know, that they have been closed down as they did not have a license to operate the business.

From personal experience, “don’t go there. “The man who runs the garage, Mike Brierley, has proven to be a pathological lying thief and has had many denunciation taken out against him. This is most like why it’s closed. Lots of people know and have experienced his dealings.

I know, I used him about 7 years ago and never gone back again. Had a problem with the indicator lamp for the ABS on my car system not turning off. After they "fixed" it, for €75 I noticed that it never turned on and checked the system when I started the car. Turned out that they had put a piece og black tape over the lamp behind the glass on the instrument panel. 

I wouldn’t go near the place again after the way I was treated. I needed a new float switch in my fuel tank and they didn’t do the tank up properly and the next time I fuelled up it was all over the forecourt of the garage. They only take cash, which suggests maybe not everything goes through the books.
