If you are a non EU passport holder and don't already have Spanish residency you will need to apply for a visa to move to Spain. I would suggest you read the information contained in the following link:

If you are a UK passport holder you cannot just move to Spain to live permanently.

If you want to retire to Spain and Since Brexit you will need to apply for a visa from the Spanish consulate in London, Manchester or Edinburgh. You will need to meet the income and healthcare requirements.

All available work in Spain must be offered to an EU citizen first and if they cannot find a suitable candidate for the job then they can offer the job to a third nation citizen. You  will need to secure a job first and then your prospective employer will need to sponsor you with a work visa. You cannot work in Spain if you are not a fully legal resident.
