Must be your home address is wrong ,sometimes living in the Campo ,what you think is your postal address is not what you think ,try checking with the property registry in the town hall and the escritura.Personally,I had a UK Amazon and in UK it is almost perfect, package tracking and delivery, moving to Spain I set up an Amazon.es and it's the same ,no complaints ,it could be there is confusion getting Amazon.uk to deliver some things to an .es address. Why bother with Amazon.uk when in Spain ,with Amazon.es the products are the same and, online Google, translates it immediately.

I use Amazon ES and delivery to my home address is perfect, always on time etc.

AliExpress is an.entirely different matter. Small parcels that use Correos are fine

But I always have problems with the couriers they use. For instance I am awaiting a delivery atm. The courier in question is Paack. For the last few days there message has said package would be delivered that day. Only for it to change halfway thru day to say the next day. I have absolutely no doubt that eventually they will tell me they have tried to deliver and I wasn't in.  I just contact seller and ask for refund.

Hi Kim

You don't say which Amazon site you are using? We use Amazon.es all the time, without problems.

With smaller items, we get them delivered to our nearest Amazon lockers (you will find a list of them somewhere in the delivery options). Once there, you will receive an email with an access code which will open the locker door - you need to collect within a few days. However, not all small items can be delivered this way, only those held at an Amazon warehouse.

We once ordered a bed, which was too big for the lockers. The delivery company wouldn't specify a time, but they did phone me when they were close by, and I met them in the street (we live in a secure gated community, so they can't get to our precise address).

I have also had one item (from a different website) delivered to my local bar.

Hope this helps.

Cheers

Try:

https://1lib.to/s/Haruki%20Murakami%20

and

https://1lib.to/s/markus%20zusak

Make sure the books are in English.

5 books per day, or 10 if you register (no problems).

Hi

Look here https://www.amazon.es/s?k=Haruki+Murakami&__mk_es_ES=%C3%85M%C3%85%C5%BD%C3%95%C3%91&ref=nb_sb_noss&tag=cstareg0f-21 and pick out the English language editions.

For delivery, to be completely sure, specify one of the Amazon lockers in your area. They appear in a drop down list on the Amazon website. There's one here https://www.todosbiz.es/amazon-hub-locker-monica-800-810-251

Alternatively, buy a Kindle device or download the app for free.

Cheers

The other day I drove several kilometres to a UPS place to pick up a parcel they could not be bothered to deliver.

Another parcel was supposed to be delivered yesterday (18th) but they changed it to today, 9:45am to 1:45pm.

Of course they never delivered but at least I am told it is at the local UPS office, about two kilometres away, and I hope to pick it up this afternoon when they open at 4:30pm.

I could understand if I lived in a rural location but I live in town. I suppose some drunken driver is boozing it up in a bar instead of delivering parcels?

Royal Mail has had strikes, go slows, etc since last May. However, several weeks is too long.

I had an uncle who worked in Royal Mail and in December, parcels which are probably presents somehow come open and if worth stealing, they are stolen.

I would guess that is what happened to your parcel.

Hi Kaneda

Thank you for the information.
I'm waiting for my English marriage certificates; when they arrive I then have to send them to the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office for The Hague Apostille stamped seal and when they are returned I hand them to my gestor or lawyer.

Comforting fact is that we are not alone.

Very sad that things are stolen; even with private delivery companies.
I'm still waiting for my special double heel socks from the UK.
I ordered them first through a company and then on ebay.

Advise: Do NOT use postnl private courier service.

We use the Amazon delivery point system. You select one of their delivery points and your package is delivered to a locked box. They email you the unlock code and you have three days to collect your goods. We use the point at Zenia Boulevard. Very efficient and simple to use.
