Hi sorry you've found it difficult did you go on this website https://www.iberdrola.es/customers/online-office/register-step1

Once registered I downloaded their app to my smart phone & iPad

Hope you get it sorted.

Thanks for the link...yes, I struggled to register but now after perseverance I have managed it and downloaded the app.  I have requested a reduction in my KW so let's see what they can do.

Great! I'm sure they'll sort you out and don't forget to ask for your facturas to be in English.

Your on a ridiculously high tariff 5.75kw. The tariff for a standard property is 3.5kw that's what I am on in a 3 broom house and my bills with the property empty are around 21e per month.

No need to change providet just go into their office and get your tariff reduced that will save you about 15e per month. ...

...

You will always use a tiny bit of electricity when your switched off at your fuse box as the meter needs some juice to run

I would have thought it is basically similar to U.K. You only pay for what goes through the meter if you have supply switched of at fuse box and meter is showing changing reading thier must be supply being taken between meter And fuse box meter is fed from main fuse and always live.we have owned our apartment since Dec 16 and so far had four different bills the property was empty from 9th Dec to 25th March I think it is what you sign up for 3KW 4Kw etc that creates the problem didn't think I would ever say it Spain could learn a lot from the UK where everyone gets the same.

Iberdrola are trying to convince me that it is t wise or beneficial to drop down from 5.75 to 3.45. There is also a fee of 11€

I was not aware of any fee as they had put us on the lower 3.45 from the start of our contract.

I would expect a fee as you are altering your extg arrangements.

The savings in your standing charge will pay for it in the first month.

I recently upgraded my elec supply as I found that whenever I had TV and a/c on if I switched on my cooker the house fell into darkness - so needs must!

Iberdrola - I am pleased to confirm you that your power has already been upgraded to 4.6kW,

Power charge: 45.367548€, - Energy charge: 0.156092€/kWh

Regarding your contract, we currently do not have a discount for actvating E-Billing as we have a new plan (click the link below) that improves your current conditions more than a 10% discount would.

https://www.iberdrola.es/home/electricity/stable-plan

If you wish to change plans, please let me know so I can send you a contarct for you to review and, if you agree, return signed.

-there is also another Elec Company FERNIE ENERGIA  - as an option to change supplier - I've asked them for a cost comparison

By them doing monthly bills aren't we also paying the standing charge twice as opposed to the once?
